✅ RELEASED — PM Kisan 24th installment: 30 October 2026. ₹2,000 credited via DBT to 9.34 crore+ farmer families (₹18,690 crore+). Full details and the official announcement are just below. Warning: Beware fake ₹4,000 videos — PIB Fact Check has debunked them; verify only on pmkisan.gov.in.
Status as of 31 October 2026 — 24th INSTALLMENT RELEASED: On 30 October 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 24th installment of PM-KISAN in Banaskantha district, Gujarat (media reports placed the event at Bhildi), during the national-level PM Kisan Utsav Diwas. As per the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare / PIB release, more than Rs 18,690 crore was transferred via DBT to more than 9.34 crore eligible farmer families — Rs 2,000 per family into Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. This replaces the pre-event estimate of Rs 18,680 crore quoted earlier on this page. If your Rs 2,000 has not arrived yet, check your status on pmkisan.gov.in (Farmers Corner → Beneficiary Status) — incomplete e-KYC, an unlinked bank account, or unverified land records can hold a payment back even after the bulk release.
One more fake to ignore: posts claiming PM-Kisan has been increased to ₹10,000 per year. That is false. The benefit is still ₹6,000 per year (₹2,000 × 3 installments), and the Agriculture Minister has informed Parliament that there is no proposal to increase it.

What to do now (October 2026 checklist)
- Complete your e-KYC — pending or expired e-KYC is the biggest reason installments get stuck.
- Make sure your Aadhaar is linked/seeded to your bank account for DBT.
- Check your beneficiary status on pmkisan.gov.in (Farmers Corner → Beneficiary Status).
My uncle called me last Sunday. The same question that’s been on every farmer’s WhatsApp group for weeks: “Bhai, PM Kisan 24th Installment kab aayegi?” Then, in the same breath: “Mera eKYC hua ki nahi, kaise check karun?” Then: “Padosi ka aa gaya, mera nahi aaya — kya karun?”
Three questions. One article. This is the guide I sent him, and it’s the one I’m publishing here so you don’t have to make the same 30-minute phone call I just did.
This guide breaks down everything you need to know: the likely release window, how to check your beneficiary status without getting confused by fake lists, how to complete the compulsory e-KYC so your payment doesn’t get stuck, and what to do if the money doesn’t show up. No jargon, no fluff — just clear steps and a dose of reality.
What Is the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana? (And Why the PM Kisan 24th Installment Matters)
PM Kisan Beneficiary List Check: Apna naam list me check karne ke liye pmkisan.gov.in par jao → Beneficiary List → State, District, Block, Village select karo → Get Report par click karo.
The PM Kisan scheme is a direct income support programme run by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Under the scheme, eligible farmer families get ₹6,000 per year, paid in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. The money is transferred directly into the beneficiary’s Aadhaar-linked bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
The three installments correspond to three four‑month periods:
-
Period 1: April to July (Installment 1)
-
Period 2: August to November (Installment 2)
-
Period 3: December to March (Installment 3)
That means the 24th installment falls under the August‑November 2026 period — the second installment of the financial year 2026‑27.
The scheme launched on 1 December 2018, with the first installment released in February 2019. Since then, more than PM Kisan 23rd installments have been credited to farmer accounts, and the 24th one is the next in line. For many families, that ₹2,000 is not just a number — it’s a buffer against rising input costs, medical bills, and seasonal dips in income.
PM Kisan Installment Schedule: How the Release Pattern Unfolds
To guess the PM Kisan 24th installment’s timing, you need to understand the release pattern that the government has followed over the last few years. The table below shows the most recent installments and their actual transfer months. (Dates refer to the bulk transfer day; states may receive funds a day or two later.)
| Installment | Four-Month Period | Actual Release Month |
|---|---|---|
| 20th | April‑July 2025 | June 2025 |
| 21st | Aug‑Nov 2025 | October 2025 |
| 22nd | Dec 2025‑Mar 2026 | February 2026 |
| 23rd | April‑July 2026 | June 2026 (recently released) |
| 24th | Aug‑Nov 2026 | 30 October 2026 (released — Rs 18,690 crore+ to 9.34 crore+ families) |

Notice the rhythm: the installment for the August‑November period is almost always released in October, sometimes in early November if there are technical or administrative delays. Given that the 23rd installment (April‑July 2026) followed the script and was released in June 2026, there’s no reason to expect a major deviation now.
Before the announcement, the expectation — based on the four-month cycle — was a release in the second or third week of October 2026, and some agriculture news portals pointed to dates around 15‑20 October 2026. That speculation is now settled: the official announcement has confirmed the 24th installment date as 30 October 2026.
The installment was released on 30 October 2026. If your payment has not arrived, make sure your eKYC, Aadhaar-bank link, and land records are all clean. That way, when pending payments are cleared, your name is in the list, and the money lands without delay.
PM Kisan 24th Installment Date 2026: Officially Announced — 30 October 2026
The official announcement is out. On 23 October 2026, the official PM-KISAN handle (@pmkisanofficial) and the Ministry of Agriculture (@AgriGoI) announced 30 October 2026 as the release date for the 24th installment. Based on the scheme’s internal calendar, the government starts processing the beneficiary list about 30‑45 days before the funds flow — so the backend verification (Aadhaar seeding, land record checks, e‑KYC status) for the 24th installment has been underway since late August–September 2026. If any of your checks still show pending, clear them before 30 October.
Here’s how the timeline has played out:
-
Beneficiary list preparation: September 2026
-
e‑KYC deadline (likely): End of September or first week of October 2026
-
Official announcement: 23 October 2026 (official @pmkisanofficial and @AgriGoI handles)
-
Fund transfer / money in bank account: 30 October 2026 (DBT; exact credit time varies by bank)
That announcement is exactly why this page kept saying: treat any social media post claiming a fixed date as a rumour until it comes from an official source. The date is now confirmed because it was announced by the official PM-KISAN handle and the Ministry of Agriculture — and the official PM-KISAN website (pmkisan.gov.in) or the verified Twitter handle of the Ministry of Agriculture.
How to Check PM Kisan 24th Installment Beneficiary Status Online (Step‑by‑Step)
Checking your payment status is straightforward if you know where to look. Here’s the process that works for every installment, including the 24th:
-
Visit pmkisan.gov.in (the portal’s URL never changes — avoid third‑party sites).
-
On the homepage, look for the “Farmers Corner” section.
-
Click on “Beneficiary Status”.
-
You’ll be asked to enter either your Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number (the registered one).
-
Select your state, district, sub‑district, and village from the dropdowns if you’re using the “Beneficiary List” option instead.
-
Click Get Data. The screen will display your name, father’s/husband’s name, and the installment details — including whether the 24th payment has been credited or is pending.
If the status says “FTO has been generated” or “Payment processed”, but you haven’t received the money, wait two‑three working days. DBT sometimes bounces if the bank account is inactive or the Aadhaar‑bank mapping is faulty.
PM Kisan e‑KYC: The One Step That Decides Whether You Get the 24th Installment
This is the single biggest reason farmers miss their installments: incomplete or expired e‑KYC. The government made e‑KYC mandatory for all PM‑KISAN beneficiaries a while ago. If your e‑KYC is pending, the system will simply skip your name during the beneficiary list generation, and no amount of complaint‑filing will bring the money back unless you complete it.
Three ways to complete your PM Kisan e‑KYC:
Method 1 — Online via Aadhaar OTP (easiest)
- Open pmkisan.gov.in on your phone or computer.
- Click Farmers Corner on the homepage.
- Click eKYC.
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
- Enter the mobile number linked to Aadhaar and click Get OTP.
- Enter the OTP and click Submit.
- Status flips to “eKYC Successful” instantly.
Method 2 — Face Authentication via PM-KISAN Mobile App (fastest for OTP failures)
If Method 1 fails (often because your Aadhaar-linked mobile number has changed or the OTP never arrives):
- Download the PM-KISAN GoI mobile app from Google Play.
- Log in with your Aadhaar + OTP.
- Tap Face Authentication under eKYC.
- Look at the front camera, blink when prompted.
- eKYC completes in under 30 seconds.
Method 3 — Biometric eKYC at any CSC (Common Service Centre)
If neither method above works — usually because of fingerprint/iris issues with elderly farmers — go to your nearest CSC:
- Find your nearest CSC: visit locator.csccloud.in and search by village/district.
- Carry your Aadhaar card and the mobile linked to it.
- Tell the operator: “PM Kisan eKYC karni hai.”
- They will do a fingerprint or iris scan → eKYC completes in 2-3 minutes.
- You’ll receive an SMS confirmation.
After completing e‑KYC, it takes a few days for the status to reflect in the PM‑KISAN database. Don’t wait until the last week before the installment; do it now so your name appears in the 24th installment’s beneficiary list.
One important note: Some states require eKYC re-validation annually. If you did eKYC in early 2025 or 2024 and haven’t re-validated in 2026, do it again now.

24th Installment Se Pehle: 4 Compliance Checks Jo Aapka Payment Rok Sakte Hain
Yahan ek baat seedhi kar dun. 24th installment ki official date announce ho chuki hai — 30 October 2026. Ye announcement 23 October 2026 ko official PM-KISAN handle (@pmkisanofficial) aur Ministry of Agriculture (@AgriGoI) ne ki hai. Isse pehle social media par 20 October ki date circulate ho rahi thi — wo June 20 (23rd installment) se 4 mahine ka gap dekh kar logon ka guess tha, official nahi tha. Ab guess khatam, date pakki hai.
Lekin date se bhi badi khabar ye hai: date pakki hone ke bawjud, agar aapke portal records incomplete hain toh payment atak jayega. Reports ke mutabik Bihar me lagbhag 4.53 lakh kisan aise hain jinka payment e-KYC, land records ya Aadhaar linking incomplete hone ki wajah se atak sakta hai. Ye sirf Bihar ki kahani nahi hai — ye “compliance risk” pure desh ke kisano par lagu hota hai.
Isliye date ka wait karne se pehle, ye 4 checks kar lena zyada samajhdari hai:
1. e-KYC Complete Hai Ya Nahi?
Ye sabse common wajah hai payment rukne ki. Bina e-KYC ke installment automatically hold ho jata hai. Teen tareeke hain:
- OTP-based: pmkisan.gov.in par Aadhaar number aur registered mobile se
- Biometric: Najdeeki CSC (Common Service Centre) par
- Face authentication: PM-KISAN mobile app me face scan se — ghar baithe, bina OTP ke
Ek baat dhyan rakhein: e-KYC complete kar lena hi kaafi nahi hai. Neeche ke teen checks bhi pure hone chahiye.
2. Land Seeding / Land Records Verified?
April 2026 se land seeding ke rules strict ho gaye hain. Agar aapke status me “Land Seeding” ke aage “No” likha hai, toh installment ruk jayega. Iska matlab hai aapke zameen ke kagazat PM Kisan ke central database se linked nahi hain.
Kya karna hai: Apne Khatauni (land documents), Aadhaar card aur bank passbook lekar local Patwari ya Agriculture Officer se sampark karein.
3. Aadhaar-Bank Account NPCI Se Linked?
PM Kisan ka paisa ab sirf unhi accounts me jata hai jo Aadhaar se linked hain aur NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) mapper par active hain. Bahut se kisan sochte hain ki account kholte time Aadhaar de diya tha toh kaam ho gaya — lekin agar NPCI par active nahi hai toh paisa nahi aayega.
Kya karna hai: Apni bank branch jakar confirm karein ki account Aadhaar se linked hai aur NPCI mapper par active hai.
4. Naam Me Spelling Mismatch Toh Nahi?
Ye sabse chhoti lekin sabse khatarnak galti hai. Agar Aadhaar card par naam “Ramesh Kumar” hai aur PM Kisan records me sirf “Ramesh” likha hai, toh system payment rok dega. Naam ka spelling Aadhaar se akshar-akshar milna chahiye.
✅ Ek aur nayi requirement: Farmer ID ab mandatory ho gaya hai (AgriStack initiative ke tahat). Jo kisan is unique Farmer ID par registered nahi hain, unka payment delay ho sakta hai ya ruk sakta hai. Apne state ke Farmer Registry portal par check karein.
Apna Status Kaise Check Karein?
pmkisan.gov.in par “Know Your Status” (Beneficiary Status) option me jakar dekhein. Wahan e-KYC status, land seeding status aur Aadhaar-bank linking — teeno dikhai dete hain. Jo bhi “No” ya “Pending” dikhe, use turant theek karayein. Payment release hone ke baad ye sab theek karne me time lagega, aur tab tak installment atak jayega.
Seedhi baat: date pakki hai (30 October 2026) — ab compliance pakki kariye. Taiyar kisan ko payment milega — aur jiska record incomplete hai, wo date nikalne ke baad bhi wait karta reh jayega.
Kisan bhaiyon ke liye ek aur zaroori baat: PM Kisan ke ₹6,000/year ke alawa, PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana me 60 saal ki umar ke baad ₹3,000/month pension milti hai — chhote aur seemant kisanon ke liye budhape ka sahara hai.

Re-Verification Drive: 31 Lakh Se Zyada Farmers Flagged — 24th Installment Se Pehle Apna Naam Check Karo
The government is running a large re-verification drive under the updated PM-KISAN eligibility rules. According to official data reported across national media, over 31 lakh beneficiary cases have been flagged for re-verification — including cases where both husband and wife were drawing the benefit (only one member of a family is eligible), accounts registered in the names of minors, and cases where land was purchased after 1 February 2019. Payments in flagged cases stay on hold until the verification is completed, so check your beneficiary status on pmkisan.gov.in well before the 24th installment.
One relief if your 23rd installment was held back only because of a verification or data issue: once your verification is cleared, the pending ₹2,000 is expected to be released together with the 24th installment. This is based on reports around the re-verification drive. The release took place on 30 October 2026; the PIB release confirms over ₹18,690 crore to 9.34 crore+ families.
Who Will Actually Get the 24th PM Kisan Installment? Eligibility and Exclusion List
Not every landholding farmer qualifies. The scheme specifically targets small and marginal farmer families with cultivable land up to 2 hectares. A “farmer family” is defined as the husband, wife, and minor children. Here’s a quick litmus test:
You are eligible if:
-
You are a citizen of India.
-
Your family owns cultivable land (combined) up to 2 hectares.
-
You have a valid Aadhaar card seeded with your bank account.
-
You have completed e‑KYC.
You are excluded if:
-
Any family member has held or holds a constitutional post (current or former Minister, MP, MLA, Mayor, etc.).
-
Any family member is a serving or retired government employee (certain Group‑A/Group‑B officers) — though regular Group‑C/D employees can be eligible if they are also small farmers.
-
Any family member has filed income tax in the previous assessment year (unless you’re a farmer who files returns due to non‑agricultural income above the basic exemption; the rules have been clarified — a small farmer who files ITR voluntarily is not automatically excluded; the exclusion applies to “income tax payees in the previous assessment year” as per the original guidelines, but many state‑level interpretations exist. For safety, check your local agriculture department.
-
Any family member is a retired pensioner drawing a monthly pension above ₹10,000 (this threshold has been debated, but it’s generally followed).
-
Professionals like doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, and architects registered with professional bodies are also excluded.
If you were receiving installments earlier and suddenly they stopped, the most common reasons are: land record mismatch after mutation, Aadhaar‑bank linking failure, e‑KYC expiry, or the family member’s name appearing in the exclusion database. Visit your block agriculture officer with updated land records and Aadhaar to get it rectified.

PM Kisan Beneficiary List 2026: How to Search Village‑Wise
Often, you want to see the entire list for your village to confirm that your name is there before the installment is released. The PM‑KISAN portal has a simple “Beneficiary List” tab under Farmers Corner.
Steps:
-
Go to pmkisan.gov.in → Farmers Corner → Beneficiary List.
-
Select your state, district, sub‑district, block, and village.
-
Click “Get Report”. The list will open as a PDF or on‑screen table with all registered farmers of that village.
-
Use Ctrl+F to search your name or Aadhaar number.
The list is updated only after the verification round for the upcoming installment. If the 24th installment’s list isn’t available yet, it will show the previous installment’s data. Keep checking as October approaches.
What If the 24th Installment Does Not Arrive? Troubleshooting the Real Reasons
Sometimes the money never hits the account. Here’s what to do instead of making rounds of the bank:
-
Check Beneficiary Status first. If the portal says “Rejected” or “Pending”, read the reason. Common rejection codes: “Bank account not linked with Aadhaar”, “NPCI mapper failure”, “Land record mismatch”, “e‑KYC pending”.
-
Verify your bank account. The account must be active, Aadhaar‑seeded, and the bank’s IFSC must be mapped on NPCI’s mapper. If you opened a new account recently, ensure the bank has updated the Aadhaar mapping. Use the “Verify Aadhaar Mapping” option on your bank’s internet banking or visit the branch.
-
Correct land records. If your land has been transferred, partitioned, or sold, update the records at the patwari/tehsildar office and then feed the corrected details into the PM‑KISAN portal through your local agriculture officer or CSC.
-
Call the PM‑KISAN Helpline. The official helpline numbers are 155261 or 1800115526 (toll‑free). You can also email [email protected]. Keep your Aadhaar and registered mobile handy. Response times vary, but they do resolve issues if you’re persistent.
Farmer unions and local krishi vigyan kendras (KVKs) often set up camps ahead of installment releases. If you’re not tech‑savvy, ask a family member to help you with the portal or visit a CSC.

The Bigger Picture: Why the 24th Installment Matters Beyond the ₹2,000
For a farming household managing a one‑acre plot, ₹2,000 might not seem huge. But it often arrives just when the monsoon has depleted savings and rabi sowing needs inputs. A 2023 study by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) found that timely PM‑KISAN installments helped small farmers reduce dependence on high‑interest informal loans by nearly 18%. That’s real relief.
The 24th installment, covering August‑November 2026, coincides with the kharif harvesting season in many states and the onset of rabi planting. It’s a financial bridge that, however modest, gives farmers some breathing space. The challenge remains getting the money to the right hands without bureaucratic delays — and that depends on how well the e‑KYC and land‑seeding infrastructure works at the block level.
If you’ve already completed your e‑KYC, double‑checked your bank account, and verified your name in the previous installment’s list, you’re likely to receive the 24th installment without hiccups. If not, take an hour this week to sort it out. That one hour can save you weeks of anxiety later.
Keep an eye on the official portal. The release date is now confirmed — 30 October 2026, as announced on 23 October 2026 by the official PM-KISAN and Agriculture Ministry handles — and this page carries the confirmed details above.
PM-KISAN Extended Till 2030-31: Your ₹2,000 Installments Are Secure
Here’s news that most websites aren’t telling you: the Union Cabinet has officially extended the PM-KISAN scheme till 2030-31, approving a massive ₹3.15 lakh crore outlay (PIB verified, July 31 decision).
What this means for you:
- Your ₹2,000 installments are officially secured for the next 5+ years
- No need to worry about the scheme ending anytime soon
- The government has committed long-term funding, which means timely payments
While other websites only speculate about installment dates, here’s the bigger reassurance: PM-KISAN isn’t going anywhere. Keep your eKYC updated and Aadhaar linked, and your installments will keep coming.

FAQ Section
1. When was the PM Kisan 24th installment released?
Yes — the date is now official. The 24th installment was released on 30 October 2026, as announced on 23 October 2026 by the official PM-KISAN handle (@pmkisanofficial) and the Ministry of Agriculture (@AgriGoI). The ₹2,000 was credited to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts via DBT (over ₹18,690 crore to 9.34 crore+ families, per the PIB release).
2. How much money will I get in the 24th installment?
Each installment is ₹2,000. The 24th installment is no different — you will receive ₹2,000 directly in your Aadhaar‑linked bank account.
3. Is e‑KYC compulsory for the 24th installment?
Yes. The government has made e‑KYC mandatory. If your e‑KYC is pending or expired, your installment will be held back. Complete it through OTP, biometric at a CSC, or face authentication on the official app.
4. Can I check my PM Kisan 24th installment status offline?
You can visit a nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) and ask them to check your beneficiary status using your Aadhaar or registered mobile number. Alternatively, call the PM‑KISAN helpline (155261) for assistance.
5. What should I do if I haven’t received the 23rd installment, and I’m worried about the 24th?
First, check your beneficiary status on the portal to see why the 23rd was rejected. Common issues include bank‑Aadhaar mapping failure, incorrect land records, or e‑KYC expiry. Resolve the issue with the help of your block agriculture officer or bank, and then complete e‑KYC. Once corrected, you may receive both installments together if the problem is sorted before the 24th list is generated.
6. Will the 24th installment be paid in cash?
No. All PM‑KISAN payments are transferred directly to Aadhaar‑linked bank accounts through DBT. No cash disbursal happens. If someone asks for cash to release the installment, it’s a scam.
7. Can an income‑tax‑paying farmer’s family get the 24th installment?
The exclusion clause states that a family with any member who paid income tax in the previous assessment year is not eligible. However, if you are a small farmer with mostly agricultural income (which is exempt from tax) and you filed ITR for some other reason, you might still be eligible. This is a grey area handled at the state level — verify with your local agriculture department.
8. I changed my mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Will that affect my installment?
It can, especially if the e‑KYC OTP-based method fails. Update your mobile number with Aadhaar first, then update it on the PM‑KISAN portal through a CSC. Until then, use the biometric method for e‑KYC.
9. Has the PM Kisan 24th installment date been announced?
Yes. The government announced the date on 23 October 2026 through the official PM-KISAN and Agriculture Ministry handles: the 24th installment was released on 30 October 2026. The 23rd installment was released on June 20, 2026.
